When were cases of canine influenza first reported?

During Spring 2018, detection of canine influenza H3N2 in New York City prompted the creation of a web-based reporting platform to help document and monitor the presence of canine influenza in the five boroughs. Results of this data collection are shown to the left.

Reporting cases of canine influenza is voluntary. However, active participation is appreciated in order to provide the veterinary community with timely and accurate data. If you are a vet and would like to report a case of canine influenza, please use the link below.

Where are vet clinics located in New York City?

Vet clinic locations were provided by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH) Bureau of Communicable Disease. Only those vet clinics that agreed to be added to the NYC DOHMH mailing list are included.
